Born Pretty Store Silver flakes

Today I would like to show you these beautiful glitter decorations that I bought on Born Pretty Store. You can find them on their website with this name: 1 Box BORN PRETTY Colorful Irregular Sequins Glitter Paillette Nail Flakies Powder, item ID: 39987, silver.

This set consists of one box of glitter flakes and one small eye-shadow brush. The glitter flakes capacity is 0.2 g, but you need a very small quantity of these flakes to obtain a beautiful effect on your nails, so the quantity is not a problem at all :-)

There are 6 various colours of glitter flakes, my first choice was silver because I use it a lot in my manicures, but I like also the others, I'd surely like to have all of them! :-)

This is the procedure to follow if you'd like create a beautiful glitter flakes UV gel manicure:

1. clean the surface of your nails, apply one layer of UV gel base coat polish, cure it 2 minutes in 36W UV lamp
2. apply one or two thin layers of UV gel polish of your choice (my choice this time was light blue), cure each layer 2 minutes in 36W UV lamp
3. apply one layer of UV gel top coat polish, cure it 2 minutes in 36W UV lamp
4. using the eye-shadow brush apply a small amount of glitter flakes on your nails until you get the desired effect
5. seal your manicure with one layer of UV gel top coat polish, cure 2 minutes in UV lamp

I didn't have any problem during the application, these glitter flakes are really easy to use and they are the perfect solution when you want to make a spectacular eye-catching manicure that will leave you breathless! :-)

Light pastel blue liquid sand manicure

I've seen many swatches of liquid sand polishes from OPI's last collection lately. I really like them, but I still don't have any of them...
So, I was pleasantly surprised to see that some girls tried to make a "home-made" version of liquid sand manicure :-)

Of course, I wanted to try it too :-)
My choice was a pastel blue nail polish and blue glitter powder and I followed the instructions in Spektor's Nails tutorial. I was satisfied with the result and the day that I wore this manicure I kept on looking at my nails and touching them over and over again :-)
I have to write also that it looked better in real life than on my photos :-)
