Marble decals brown manicure

After I saw DIY video tutorial Pink & Purple Drip Marble made by Colette from My Simple Little Pleasures and I decided to try to make something similar, using the same technique.

My first attempt was Marble decals blue & green & white manicure, you can take a look at it following the link :-)
The whole process was very interesting, I made some mistakes, I learned some new things and I was quite happy with the result, so I was sure that I would try it again very soon and I was right :-)

This is my second attempt, with different colours and, again, I like how it came out! It looks perfect for autumn! :-)
I hope you like it too! :-)

Born Pretty Store review: March Elegant Nail Lacquer n° 10

Today I present to you this beautiful nail polish that I bought at Born Pretty Store. You can find it on their web site with this name 1pc 15ml March Elegant Nude Colors Nail Art Polish Lacqueritem ID: 4901.

The nail polish comes in a 15 ml bottle, the bottle is very stylish, it has a tiny black bow and it looks really elegant :-)

There are 18 different colours in this collection and they are all beautiful. My first choice was the colour n° 2, blue-grey shade and I presented it to you in my post Born Pretty Store review: March Elegant Nail Lacquer n° 2. There I also wrote that I was thinking about ordering some other colour too, so here I am with another colour :-)

As with the first nail polish from the same collection, I didn't have any problem during the application. Also this nail polish is a little bit sheer so I needed three coats for a complete opacity.
Drying time is normal and it has a nice shiny finish, so there is no need for a top coat :-)

The colour is beautiful and I like how it looks on my nails! :-) It will be an excellent base also for my nail art creations! :-)

Have you tried these nail polishes before? What do you think of them? Which one is your favourite in this collection?

If you still haven't tried them, you can find this beautifuMarch Elegant Nude Colors Nail Art Polish Lacquer at Born Pretty Store, I really recommend them! :-)

Here is also my 10% off coupon code that you can use on any purchase.

Fan brush gradient brown manicure

In this year of blogging I "virtualy" met many bloggers, many talented girls, and I think that this is one of nice things that blogging can give you :-)

One of these girls is Jin Jit from the Superficially Colorful blog, if you are still not following her blog, I suggest you to check it as soon as possible, she has so many interesting and beautiful manicures :-)

Jin Jit inspired me for this manicure that I'm showing you today :-) When I saw her The 31 Days Challenge Day 21 - Merge & Melt manicure I said to myself "This is gorgeous, you have to try it as soon as possible, you can't just put it on your 'to do' list and leave it there"... and so I did :-)

I found my "fan brush", I put some clear base coat on my nails and decided to try with some acrylic colours only on one of my nails... my intention was just to see how it's going to work... So, I put a little bit of three acrylic colours on a plastic plate, very close to each other, I dip the fan brush in those colours and I tried to spread them on my nail; I did it 3-4 times until I covered all the nail (... and a lot of skin around the nail, too...) and until I was satisfied with the result. It looked like some kind of striped gradient :-)

I liked it so much that I decided to do the same thing on all the other nails :-)

After having finished playing like this with my nails (...I have to admit I had fun doing it!), I put my top coat on. When the top coat dried, I simply washed my hands with my normal liquid hand soap, persisting on a cuticle area... And the cleaning was over... :-)

I suppose that the next step will be to make a fan brush gradient manicure with "the real stuff", with nail polishes :-) The only thing that I'm afraid of is cleaning all the mess, and I don't really like it... Cleaning the mess made by acrylic colours is very simple, cleaning the mess made with nail polish is completely another thing... Well, I'll just have to try... :-)

What do you think about my fan brush gradient manicure? :-)
