I've already seen many flocking powder manicures on other blogs and I really wanted to try it :-) This beautiful flocking powder was kindly offered to me from Born Pretty Store for this review. The package contains:
1 x flocking powder
1 x tweezers
1 x little brush
How to use it:
1. lay down old newspapers or plastic to protect the work area
2. mix the flocking powder with tweezers before using it
3. apply base coat on your nails, let it dry completely
4. apply nail polish of the same colour as the flocking powder, let it dry completely
5. apply nail polish again, then immediately put the flocking powder on your nail, let it dry
6. use the little brush to sweep away any excess flocking powder, which can be captured in the accompanying tray; don't discard it, pour it back into the bottle
I followed the instructions, it was very easy and fun and I am very happy with the final result. Of course, because of the 3D texture, there's no need for a top coat :-) And it is a beautiful sensation to feel this "velvet" texture on your nails, I just keep looking and touching my nails again and again :-)
