BornPretty review: Aurora liquid powder AP004

Today I present you Aurora liquid powder AP004, that I got from Born Pretty for my honest review :-)

You can find it on BornPretty website with this name: Aurora Liquid Powder 10ml, AP004.

There are 6 different shades of Aurora liquid powder and they all create different effects on different base colours, so it's up to you to experiment and find the combination that you like most! :-)

Aurora liquid powder comes in a 10 ml bottle.
Aurora chrome powder sinks to the bottle very easily (you can see it on one of my first photo here below), but it's completely normal and all you have to do before using it is to shake the bottle a little bit, until the chrome powder mixes nicely (you can see it on my second photo here below).
I also add the photo that shows the ingredients of this bottle :-)

I didn't have problems working with Aurora liquid powder AP004, the application was smooth and easy! :-)

This is the procedure:
1. prepare your nails and file them
2. apply a very thin layer of UV base coat gel and cure it under the UV lamp for 2 minutes
3. apply the UV gel colour that you like and cure it under the UV lamp for 2 minutes; repeat this step to obtain the full opacity
4. apply one layer of UV top coat gel and cure it under the UV lamp for 2 minutes; do not use Super UV top coat gel because it's too smooth and Aurora liquid powder can't be applied on it, so Super UV top coat gel is not recommended
5. shake the bottle of Aurora liquid powder to mix the chrome powder with the liquid, apply it on your nails and rub it evenly using your finger; repeat this step to make the aurora effect more visible
6. apply one layer of UV top coat gel and cure it under the UV lamp for 2 minutes

As base colour I used BP Silky White Series UV gel CG031 and as base and top UV gel polish I used BP UV gel base coat and BP UV gel top coatEvery layer of UV gel polish and UV base/top coat is cured 2 minutes in 36W UV lamp

So, here it is, Aurora liquid powder AP004 on light blue! :-)
I hope you like it as much as I do!! :-)

  2. It looks really lovely! But... it says "rub it with a finger" - isn't it a liquid? Do you rub it after it dries, or...?

    1. Yes, it's liquid, but after you apply it, they suggest to kind of "rub" it with a finger...
To tell you the truth, I rubbed it on one nail only and on the other nails I simply applied it like a normal nail polish (without rubbing); then after it dried (it dries very quickly, in 10-20 seconds) I applied it one more time... and you can see the result on my photos :-)
