In my last sample package that I got from Born Pretty Store I got also six Born Pretty thermal polishes. During last weeks I tried all of them, I used them as base for my free hand nail art creations and my stamping manicures and slowly slowly I'm going to present all of them to you :-)
Today I present you BP thermal polish #5. You can find it on Born Pretty Store website with this name: 1 Bottle 6ml BornPretty 3 Colors Thermal Nail Polish Temperature Color Changing Polish #5, item ID: 25176.
BP thermal polish #5 changes from military green in cold state to light yellow in warm state and it has a really nice colour shift. In some of my photos you can notice that there is also the third shade visible, so it seems to me that with this nail polish you instantly get a really nice gradient on your nails!
This thermal nail polish comes in a 6ml bottles and this is the only "negative" thing that I can write about it, because once you try it you wish to have it in full dimension nail polish bottle! :-)
This thermal polish is extremely well made, it has the right consistency that allows you an easy and smooth application. The colours are bright and the nail polish is well pigmented, I needed two layers for a full opacity.
It also has a perfectly normal nail polish smell and the drying time is quick :-)
As I already wrote more than once, I'm sorry that my nails are not so long, so often I can't get the typical "gradient" effect that you usually get using thermal nail polishes.
The other problem is my personal problem with micro-circulation, so my fingers are (almost) always cold and these thermal nail polishes don't have many possibilities to warm up much :-) So, I had to experiment a little bit and for my thermal polishes swatches, I used the hair-drier to get the change of colour :-)
I like all of these BP thermal polishes, this one is one of my favourites and I can strongly recommend it :-)

Here it is, BP thermal polish #5
I'm so glad that born pretty store reformulated their thermals because they had some about two years ago that were just plain awful. I will definitely be checking out their other colors, and can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteI didn't try those thermals but I'm happy that now BP thermal polishes work perfectly! :-)
DeleteIt has a really nice shift!
ReplyDeleteYes, in some moments you can see also three different shades :-)
DeleteThe color changing effect is so strong! Very cool! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Irina! :-) Yes, this one has a strong visual effect :-)
DeleteE ovo je termo lak koji bi ja rado nosila. Predivan je! :)
ReplyDeleteJeste, lepa zelena je u pitanju... Imaju i jos nekih stvarno finih boja u kolekciji :-)
DeleteGorgeous shade and the effect is really noticeable ! I have the check these too :)
ReplyDeleteSome of these BP thermal polishes have stronger effect then the others, but when it comes to this one I like the shade in cold state and I like the gradient effect :-)
