Born Pretty review: Watercolor gel and 8-in-1 Function nail gel - Purple marble watercolor effect manicure on white

Today I present you two new products that I got from BornPretty for my honest review :-)  

The first product is 8-in-1 Function nail gel, you can find it on BornPretty website with this name: 8-in-1 Function Gel Nail Glue Reinforcement Extension Base Gel 7ml, item ID: 53644.

It comes in 7ml bottle and it's suitable to use with UV lamp or with LED lamp. It's made of healthy, environmental friendly and no poisonous chemical materials.

It has multiple uses, it can be used as base gel, reinforcement gel, extension gel, watercolor nail gel, colour mixing gel, nail liquid slip solution, nail glue and rhinestones gel.

For my manicure I used it as base UV gel and I'm satisfied, I didn't have problems working with it, the application was smooth and easy! :-) 

Of course, I will try it also for other purposes and I'll let you know all about it in my future posts, but I'm sure that it will be very useful to me! :-)

The second product that I tried is Watercolor gel, you can find it on BornPretty website with this name: Watercolor Nail Gel Polish Function Gel 7ml, item ID: 52484.

It comes in 7ml bottle and it's suitable to use with UV lamp or with LED lamp. It's made of healthy, environmental friendly and no poisonous chemical materials.

This is the procedure that you should follow to create a new UV gel manicure with watercolor effect:

1. apply UV gel base coat and cure it for 2 minutes in UV lamp

2. apply one or two coats of UV gel colour and cure it for 2 minutes in UV lamp (I used white UV gel)

3. apply a layer of Watercolor gel, do not cure it!

4. choose another colour of UV gel (I used purple UV gel) and using a thin nail brush or your favourite dotting tool draw anything that you want; you will notice that the coloured UV gel that you applied "spreads" creating a nice watercolor effect 

5. apply a layer of UV gel top coat and cure it for 2 minutes in UV lamp

For my first manicure using watercolor gel I wanted to obtain a kind of "marble" effect, so I didn't want the purple to spread very much, but I already have some plans for my next manicure where I would like to create a giant flower shape by spreading the colour on watercolor gel, I think it could be really pretty! :-)

Using this watercolor gel with various tools will give you different results but I'm sure that every final outcome will be beautiful :-)
