This nail polish was kindly sent to me from Born Pretty Store for this review. You can find it on their website with this name: 2 Bottles/Set 15ml Mirror Nail Polish & 15ml Base Coat, item ID: 22968.
This mirror nail polish has a wonderful mirror effect and, although I am not really a fan of chrome or metallic effect nail polishes, I was quite impressed! :-) It seems to be a liquid mirror! :-)
Bying this product you get one 15ml bottle of mirror nail polish and one 15ml bottle of base coat.
The bottles that I got came without names (probably because these are free samples for a review), but the original bottles come with names stamped, so one is called "Mirror Nail Polish" and the other one "Top Coat".
The procedure is very simple, it has only few simple steps:
1. file and clean your nails; all chrome/metallic/mirror nail polishes are very "cruel" and they show all the imperfections of your nails
2. apply one layer of base coat and wait until it completely dries; applying mirror nail polish on the base coat not completely dried makes a big mess, I experienced it :-)
3. shake well the bottle of mirror nail polish and apply it until you get the desired mirror effect; wait until it completely dries
4. seal your mirror manicure with a generous layer of shiny top coat
The base coat dries a little bit slow, but the mirror nail polish dries really fast and it is amazing; during the application I got the impression to be a chemist doing some magic experiment, I watched this liquid becoming a mirror surface right in front of my eyes, it was a very nice experience! :-)
Among the Born Pretty Store descriptions of this mirror nail polish there was also the information that it doesn't have a strong adsorbtion, so it can keep about one or two days.
I can confirm that I wore it two days, with my free-hand nail art on it, and then I removed it from my nails; I didn't have any problems during the removal, it was very easy and there weren't any stains on my nails :-)
I think that this nail polish gives a very "futuristic" look to the nails and it would be perfect for some visionary nail art manicures and I can highly recommend this mirror nail polish :-)
