This set of water decals was kindly offered to me from Born Pretty Store for this review. You can find it on their web site with this name 11pcs Pretty nail Water Stickers Nail Art Decals Manicure Flower, item ID: 892.
The set contains 11 sheets of water decals with different designs, the dimensions of each sheet is 6,5 cm x 5 cm. I particularly liked floral designs (...who knows me and follows my work will not be surprised..!) and butterfly design, but also the other like the abstract designs are very eye-catching! :-)
Instructions:
1. start out with clean nails
2. paint the base colour on your nails and let it dry completely
3. cut the decals and shape them to suit your nail
4. remove the protection film and soak in the water for 10-20 seconds until the decal slides of the paper backing
5. put the water decal on your nail, choose the right position while it's still wet, dab the excess water off with a paper towel
6. if needed, trim any excess along the tip or sides of the nail
7. seal your manicure with a layer of top coat
Overall, water decals are easy to work with. You can cover all your nail or you can choose to cut only some smaller pieces of water decal patterns and put them on your nail. If you don't like the placement, you can move the decal on your nail while it's still wet to find the better position for it.
This pack has enough water decals to make at least 11 different manicures; of course, if you have very long nails maybe you could have some problems covering all your nails using the 6,5 cm x 5 cm design sheet, but surely you could make a beautiful accent nails water decal manicure :-)
Water decals can be easily removed with a common nail polish remover.
For this review, I chose one of abstract designs for my accent nails and I used Essence n° 125 Absolutely Blue for the other nails. Here is my manicure! :-)
If you still haven't tried them, you can find this very interesting and beautiful nail water decals at Born Pretty Store.
Here is also my 10% off coupon code that you can use on any purchase.

They are really pretty, I especially like the one you are wearing - but no, never tried decals, I paint my nail art myself, as you know :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Maria, I know exactly what you think :-) I know that you paint your nail art yourself and I you know that free-hand painting is also my favourite nail art :-) Sometimes I love to try also something different, especially when it comes to some interesting designs that I could never draw free-hand, and I think these Born Pretty Store water decal patterns are really interesting and beautiful to see! :-)
DeleteSono assolutamente carinissime! Adoro i water decals, anche se mi capita di rado di usarli, sono un modo rapido e semplice per avere delle unghie particolari.
ReplyDeleteSono d'accordo! :-) Uso i water decals davvero raramente e anche home-made water decals (me li stampa mio marito), ma ho voluto provare questi, perché mi sono piaciuti tutti i disegnini :-) E poi, mi rendo conto che non riuscirei mai a disegnare qualcosa così sulle mie unghie... :-)
DeleteDavvero carini!
Deleteoh I _love_ water decals of all sorts, and it's great to see your wonderful attempt at the nail decorations! I love the result :))
ReplyDeletewoah - 11 beautiful patterns! I hope to see some other of them on your nails as well :))
Thank you, Mari! :-) I don't use water decals so often, and I usualy use "home-made" water decals (I choose the pattern and my husband stamps it on his water decal paper), but I really liked these patterns and I wanted to try them! :-) Oh, don't worry, I'm sure you will see also the other patterns on my nails! :-)
DeleteThese look really neat! I love water decals(especially from the Born Pretty Store) but I have never tried decals like these.
ReplyDeleteThese are made in the way that you have to cut them to suit your nail, but it was not a problem at all. I don't use water decals so often, I liked these designs so I wanted to try them :-)
DeleteThese look beautiful! I love the abstract pattern paired with the light blue color :) I've never tried water decals before, but I'll definitely check these out!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lucy! :-) I don't use water decals so often, and I usualy use "home-made" water decals (I choose the pattern and my husband stamps it on his water decal paper), but I really liked these patterns and I wanted to try them! :-) I found them easy to use and very interesting! :-)
