Today I'm showing you one of latest Born Pretty Store products that was kindly sent me for this review.
It is the holographic laser powder that you can find on Born Pretty Store website with this name: 1g/Box Holographic Laser Powder Nail Glitter Rainbow Pigment Manicure Chrome Pigments, item ID: 33256.
This set consists of one box of holographic laser powder and one eye-shadow brush. The holographic laser powder box capacity is 0.8 - 1 g, but I assure you that it means a lot, because you need a very small quantity of this powder to obtain the holo effect on your nails, that his box will last really long :-)
This is how I worked with this holographic laser powder:
I cleaned the surface of my nails, applied one layer of BP UV gel base coat polish,
two thin layers of BP UV gel polish Purple Series n° 11 and one layer of BP UV gel top coat polish (every layer of UV gel polish and UV base/top coat is cured 2 minutes in 36W UV lamp). Using the eye-shadow brush I applied a small amount of holographic laser powder on my nails until I covered entire nail and buffed it on the nail until got the desired effect. At the end I sealed the manicure with another layer of seal the manicure with BP UV gel top coat polish, cured 2 minutes in the UV lamp :-)
You can also use one of these carving silicone brushes, that are more "professional" tool. Born Pretty Store recommends their 3pcs carving brush set, you can find it on their website with this name: 3Pcs/set Nail Art Carving Brush Pen 2-Ways Different Shape Silicone Hollow Engraving Manicure Tool, item ID: 31324. There are three brushes in the set, they have different shaped silicone endings, easy to clean, and I can confirm that these silicone carving brushes are very useful and helpful in buffing the holographic laser powder on your nails.
But, as I wrote above, these silicone carving brushes are not obligatory, you can do all the buffing of this holographic laser powder using the eye-shadow brush that comes in this set :-)
I didn't have any problem during the application, everything wenth smoothly, and at the end I could enjoy that gorgeous holographic laser effect on my nails! :-) Fortunately, it was a nice day so I had a lot of sun and my nails seemed like a wonder to me! :-)
