The plastic box contains 12 types of artificial stones, 3 peaces of each type. They come in different sizes and shapes, eye-shaped, tear-shaped (or raindrop-shaped), oval-shaped... but all of them have a very special glow and look like real gemstones :-)
They have a flat backing, so they lie nicely on the nail surface. 

Applying these gemstones is very easy. You can use a moisturized manicure stick to pick up a gemstone and then put it on nail polish that is still wet or on a drop of top coat.
